A dynamic, customer-focused, rapidly expanding company engaged in the gaming industry, is seeking positive, experienced, performance-focused individuals to fill the following position:
TECHNICIAN
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of four (4) CXC or GCE certificates, including Mathematics and English Language. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of CXC certificates.
• Post-secondary technical certificate from a recognized institution
• Training in Customer Service
• Technical expertise: electronic diagnostics, cable installation, gaming/lottery installations, machine and equipment set up.
• Computer literacy – familiarity with Microsoft Office
• 1-3 years in a similar position
• Excellent communication and customer service
• Must possess valid driver’s license
• Experience with computer or mechanical repairs preferred
Requirements:
• Ability to identify major components of gaming machines, e.g. Acceptor, Hopper, Monitor and type, PCB, etc.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Report writing skills.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• Sound verbal, written and listening communications.
• Good working knowledge of island and parishes; knowledge of customer locations.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, appropriate for vehicle operated.
• Effective time management.
• Provides technical service and support to agents and customers:
• Ensures that customers are satisfied with level of service provided.
• Facilitates the resolution of machinery and equipment issues.
• Responds promptly to equipment maintenance problems encountered by customers.
• Promptly relays to supervisor or manager, any problems identified by customers or agents regarding the company’s equipment.
• Provides appropriate feedback to technical queries.
• Recommends new procedures to improve departmental efficiencies
