BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – BAD luck seems to be the shadow of dancehall artiste Mavado when in Canada, as last night (Feb. 7) was the second time in three years the ‘So Special’ singer was allegedly robbed in that country while on business

Details surrounding last night’s incident is still sketchy, but according to One876Entertainment, Mavado was robbed at gunpoint at a studio

The media house further stated that he was at a studio recording ‘dubplates’ when some male assailants entered and robbed him. They took his bracelets, jewellery and money; they also robbed a number of persons who were with him.

A similar incident took place with the singer back in 2007 resulting in the loss of his passport, credit cards, laptop and other valuables.

On Thursday (Feb. 4), Mavado received an award for Male Singjay of the Year at the Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards (EME).
