Information reaching SKNVibes state that 23-year-old Karim ‘Sleepy’ Browne, formally of McKnight but who was residing in Bath Village, Nevis, was shot in the right eye shortly after 11:00 this morning. The Nevis Humane Society also known as Friends of the ARK has announced that this year’s Family Fun Day is Saturday, April 3rd. The announcement is contained in a Press statement released by this year’s organizing committee. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is the focus of the “3 Rs Recycling Initiative” currently being undertaken by the Department of Environment. KEMBA SWANSTON of Keys Village, who was convicted of murder and attempted murder, delivered a compelling case of appeal yesterday (Mar. 17) before the local sitting of the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal, which could lead to his conviction being overturned. On October 10, 2006, Swanston was convicted of the murder of Dennis Chapman and the attempted murder of his brother, Gavin Henry.
