Iantha did us all wrong and we have to live with it especially ME my dear mom.I love you unquestionably and noone can take that pain away not even praying is helping much and I dont really know how to pray.I was very BLESSED to have a MOTHER like you and God knows why we can only have one because no one can take your place in MY HEART. Cousin Benny Hodge was one of the nicest persons I have ever known.As we mourn his passing,I can't help but reflect on the times I spent with him, his twin brother Steve and their Mum Aunt Edith in Old Road.My heart goes out to his wife Jen and his daughters and the rest of the family.Whenever I needed information about my late grandfather Vincent Osborne's family tree,he was my source.Sadly,good men must die,but death cannot kill their names.He will live forever in our hearts.Let's remember him with love.May his soul rest in eternal peace. |

I am so sad and shocked to hear of Benny's untimely death. Benny, Steve and I go back to the days in Old Road. We played Cricket, Football and did a lot of fishing. I remember us loading up in their dad's volkswagen P1026, going to Sandy Point to fish on the pier at night.
I give my condolences to his wife, kids, and his twin brother Steve. I was lucky to spend some time with him three years ago when I came home to watch cricket.
I came over to Nevis with my brother, and Benny took the time out to takes us around and even took us to buy some conchs in Jessups so I can bring back to Atlanta. He took us on a tour which included his home. Unfortunately I did not meet his wife but saw her pictures. To his family I say, "Be Strong". Benny would want you to be. |
