The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla Trading and Development Company Limited (TDC) is a leading private sector company and an equal opportunity employer in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. TDC is currently seeking applications from experienced, energetic professionals to fill the position of Claims Officer, TDC Insurance Company Limited, West Independence Square Street, St. Kitts.

The Claims Officer must have a passion for claims handling and customer service. The candidate must demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Technical Insurance and Law, as well as knowledge of practical claims handling.

Main Responsibilities:

· Receive and record claims reports and supporting documentation

· Prepare files and conduct preliminary investigations on claims

· Prepare claim settlements

· Submit files for recovery and follow up until successful recoveries made

· Review claims periodically and update their statuses accordingly

· Liaise with Company Attorneys to provide and receive updates on legal matters

· Maintain an efficient documentation and filing system

Qualifications and Requirements

· Secondary School Diploma

· CII Certificate in Insurance or Equivalent

· At least three (3) years in the insurance industry

· A valid Driver’s License
