Comment: i think the government need to see that the youths are supplied with more jobs because the schools are not getting smaller but they are getting bigger that means there are more ppl unemplyed in our federation.imagine 80% of the students graduating from a school or cfbc and only 30% are able to get satisfying jobs while 10% are underemplyed that leaves 60% unemployed our country must suffer from robbery if this is so because every man gotta eat in order to survive an most a dem got to feed kids..

Comment: "Back to the Drawing Board". You only do that when what you have is NOT working. This nation is in a bad state, what with violent crime, corruption in Govt (according to the USA), armed robberies, burglaries, severe taxation and more to come (VAT), a Police Force that needs training/equipping/etc, collections of potholes called roads, locals not being offered the same incentives an non-locals, locals that are taxed higher than non-locals, an administration that appears to be courting idiots like Gadaffi and Chavez, a Government administration that will not accept responsibility when things go wrong but rush to claim the good results of others as its own, underfunded hospitals, the most expensive Sea Port in the Caribbean - but it loses money. YES, the Government needs to go back to the drawing board BUT it must start with a clean slate.

Comment: I am 22 years,and sadly it seems that I am alot smarter than many adult kittitans...now tell me this,what does the Government have to do with the crimes that are taking place in St. Kitts?If anyone who is to be blame are the parents.Discipline has to first start in the home.You ppl need to stop blaming the Government,for your children's foolish behaviors,if u parents had taken the time to teach your children right from wrong,and also that education is the key to success,sk wld be a better place

Comment: Do not blame Government for every thing BAD that is happening,we as citizens have to find ways to protect ourselves and the Banks too should protect them selves,we trust them with our money but they are doing next to nothing to protect it.Bank robrey is on the rise in St.Kitts so why dont the Banks install bullet proof glass over the counters? and hire security guards that do not look like they are sleeping,also,close circuit camars are a must.We have the technology so why not use it?

Comment: Agree with you Brenda, Douglas had better wise up because if he doesn't take this crime sitiuation seriously: 1. He will have no tourist coming to the island and what good would that do. 2 More crimes would be committed. 3. St.kitts and Nevis such a small island and already it's become like jamaica. Comment: I come home every year and i too are not going to rush back to my birth land. Douglas you need to take the crime situation seriously and get rid of these animals off the streets. SKN need forensics so that these low lifes can be captured and to do that if you have a suspect and you know who the bad men are (they think they bad bcos they are getting away with thes henious crimes)forensic them all, that way you bound to get a suspect and have them incarerated. Comment: The government of Nevis and St.kitts SHOULD TAKE A GREAT MORE RESPONSIBILTY IN THE QUALITY OF LIFE ON THE ISLANDS AND CONVENE A TASK FORCE OF KEY MILITARY AND POLICE PERSONNEL TO FIND WAYS TO COMBAT THE CRIME ON THE TWO ISLANDS. SOONER OR LATER THE TOURIST BUSINESS WILL STOP AND THE ECONOMIC DESTRUCTION WILL COME TO BOTH ISLANDS, IF THE GOVERNMENT DO NOT TAKE CONTROL.
