Comment: How will Mr Jeffers dress when on duty? Will he be wearing his commissioner uniform? Isn't he way pass age 55? Isn't he way in his sixties? Is that really fair? Please note that injustice in itself breeds problems.It creates instbility. It can contribute to increased lawlessness and crime!I hope Dr Merchant's advice would not turn out to be a legal liability for the government. I guess 'who cares?' Stogumber Browne and Astaphan would be ready to help out- and get paid handsomely, win or lose.

Comment: Why question the PM's choice? He should just submit, as fodder for spin doctors and music to the ears of bigots, that the members of CIC are carrying out agenda of PAM; and they would accept. I hope no outside observer are thinking that 'SKN' is the acronym for 'Stupd Kittitian Neaga'

Comment: I have no beef with either of these gentlemen but I do have to agree with the Chamber. I went to school with Mr. Merchant and am a friendly acquaintance of Mr Jeffers'. Each has had his turn at the pinnacle of the law enforcement mechanism in the Federation and failed to do the magic that would have warranted their installation as consultants. Whether we like it or not, our small polulation is not necessarily bursting apart at the seams with the kind of talent necessary for this kind of work.

Comment: I am so glad that the CIC is speaking up about the corrupt practices of this current administration. It is so unfortunate, though, that the opposition is so incompetent and clearly unable to do its job. I worry about the future of this federation.
