Comment: It is more convenient to wait a while before responding to a robbery in progress. It is easier to investigate than to confront. The police is scared of the criminals here. No wonder the bad guys can do whatever they want. But why do we worry? After all the government is spending lots of money on "surveillance cameras" to monitor the empty streets where the bad guys don't go.

Comment:  When criminals display a gross disrespect for law enforcement by holding up a police station, it demonstrates their perception of the police. To the criminals the police are lacking the resources to fight crime effectively especially when a recent report stated that the Federation’s crime detection rate has fallen just below the internationally-accepted rate. More security measures have to be employed such as bullet proof glass in banks, and security bars in other businesses.

Comment: Dee, 700+ students and professors live here, convert loan money and pay checks to ECD and deposit it in our banks, rent our houses/apartments, and patronize our restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and gas stations. On top of that they also provide solid jobs to a decent number of Kittitians. Maybe the presence of Ross University doesn't directly effect you, but it DOES effect our economy and community!
