Comment: From reading this article a few things come to mind. If Mr.Lewis is convicted in Guyana for allegedly having amunition in his possession, the Government of St Kits and Nevis should request an interview with Mr. Lewis to see if those guns were destined for St. Kitts and how he would have gotten them into the State. Would he have gotten a Flight to a neighboring Island and waited for a special customer officer to come on duty?. Law Enforcement should look into that if he is convicted.

Comment: Silly way to go about this kind of business, if you asked me. Unless This Kittitian was hoping to slip into Guyana to stay, how may airports would he have hoped to slip through on his way to St. Kitts without getting caught with contraband? This kind of risk taking makes these guys look as if they have resigned themselves to whatever befalls them. Reckless and wanton!

Comment: The Police are doing a good job However I will strongly encourage them to do more random stop and search on Pedestrians ,and vehicles.It will hard on you ,you will have to put in extra time but you will gain certain results which will lead to a reduction in gun crimes as you step up your efforts.At that point you cant just stop for three months,no you will have to keep applying pressure to bring this thing under control.
