A police officer is not allowed under the rules of evidence to give second hand information, it is called heresay. Comment: Person who witness these crimes dont want to put themselves in a situation when the already given evidence in court, to be in a hide and seek mode from who ever is planning to retaliate... Police should find a way where they can take evidence from such persons and confront these perpetrators and hopefully get a break in the case.... Pressure burst pipe... guess there aren't and well train officer than can conduct such an interview. I watched so many episodes of 48 hours and see how easily they find their suspects in such a big area compare to skb and we here find it so hard. Dont think the officers are fully committed to their job. So many persons are willing to inform but the officers dont protect them nor pressure them to. Comment: NOBODY is going to stand in court and bare witness to these crimes especially if they are gang related because witnesses are being killed off and their families are put in danger as a result.
