Comment: I am happy that people are angry at the dangerous nonsense that comes from our PM. Mr Brantley is a close friend and he has the nation at heart, unlike most of our "invalid" leaders in parliament. Brantley is not looking for political popularity by talking the truth. The man is intelligent and has leadership qualities that are lacking by both the PM and the Premier. He understands what criminality can do to a small nation. You Mr PM is responsible for protecting the people of the federation. Hold your police officers accountable. If they are not getting the job done, then you may have to start firing from the head downwards. Mr PM please put the politics aside and do right by the people. A number of us living abroad are rethinking moving back home. Mr PM if you were the leader of Nevis, with your attitude, you would be voted out. I am yet to understand how you remain in power in St Kitts. Do us a favor and let the Hon Brantley run the country for two years and you will see meaningful change.

Comment: Well there you have it, my people. The PM has made it clear once again that crime is not the government's responsibility (or concern) which means there will be no concerted effort to stem the flow of weapons in this very small nation. We know the government does not directly put the gun in the hands of criminals, but they are responsible for stopping these guns from entering this land, and putting the forces in place to protect people from criminals as well as investigate and incarcerate people who commit crime. The PM's remarks are irresponsible, the criminals would get a boost in confidence knowing that the officers who pursue them don't really care about their jobs or responsibilities. What an arrogant fool!

Comment: Roy was indeed a special person and he is dearly missed by all his family. We will always remember him.

Comment: This is just a small step towards dealing with the problem of sexual assault in this country, we still have a long way to go but I glad about the stiffer penalties being imposed, however I don't think anyone convicted of any sort of sexual assault should be given a suspended sentence. We need to revoke bail for persons arrested for sexual assault so they can't go and intimitade the victims especially children, lastly, more people need to come forward and report cases that they know about.

Comment: Legislation and Procedure in Parliament Power to make laws. 37.- (1) Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, Parliament may make laws for the peace, order and good government of Saint Christopher and Nevis. Has PM Douglas read this and has he taken the word "may" to mean and option and hence government is not obligated? Well Mr. PM, Law or legal terms has strange meaning such as cattle shall mean goat, sheep, ass, mule etc and may means obligatory. Hence gov't is responsible.

Comment: of course the gov't is somewhat responsible since they aren't doing anything to get the guns off the streets.

Comment: All St Kitts Nevis will be listening to and or watching intently your debates\discussions and any parliamentarian that signs on to this Vagabond And Thief Act can and must say farewell to their political career. Any action designed to crush us further into nothingness will be met by our total rejection of you. Obviously we are indebted and must pay our debts, but at the same time, it is unreasonable for the State to enslave it citizens to achieve this end especially w\o disclosing ALL FACTS.
