Comment: When I heard about the accident I was horrified. It is sad that someone had to die but such is life. I was hit by a bus once so I understand what everyone goes through. I have seen a child hit by a bus, I was a school bus, the child died a few hours later. I am glad too because there is a lesson in there as wwell. Bus drivers - any driver - you need to remember that you are not alone on the road and you need to be considerate of other road users. SLOW DOWN, death calling you or what.

Comment: Mr STOP DRIVING SO FAST WITH ME!!! "Miss please, u want the other busses to beat me," the SMART bus driver said. One day I am on a passemger bus alont with others and scared for my life and thats what he said to me. We all don't deserve to die like this, and GOD give life he doesn't take it away. Think about others on the road, and the traffic dept need to make some rules that as long as school is on in school zones the speed limit should be 10mph. U all gonna kill innocent people children. RIP

Comment: I think that they need to host the Concert at the New Sandy Point Recreation Ground since it can not be kept in the Basseterre area..... Atleast for once that the Concert would be held in the Town of Sandy Point.....................

Comment: I am just so grateful that the bus collided with another vehicle that could have taken that impact. Can u imagine what a it would have being like had it hit a car or another passenger bus? Some of you may say others are heartless but they are probably speaking from their experience. I have asked bus drivers to slow down and even to put me out because of they way they were driving. Those drivers that like to race (yes I said race, 2 and 3 of them at a time) down factory road please take heed.

Comment: You always had me as one of your own and it grieves my heart to see you gone just like that.It was just yesterday in the day you drove up behind me and was asking me if i wasn't starting back school seeing that i just had a baby.Every time You see me on the road You made an attempt to drive up behind me so i will run out of the road.My condolences to your family an nuff for you still. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN! JuSt So!!

Comment: It is sad to hear about this tragic accident but these bus driver drives to fast on the road and it need to stop low down you are going to get there it is better to be safe than sorry. LOW DOWN

Comment: i am shocked about clide,s passing.clide and his girlfriend would visit our home every saturday and he would never come empty handed.there was always a bag with a whole baked chicken from value mart for my boyfriend.he was a part of my family.why do ppl have to leave those heartless comments.no one know how god is going to take them.today for me and tomorrow for you.rest in eternal peace clyde.gone but not forgotton

Comment: This is actually my first time commenting in any forum like this, but felt I had to because it is very disturbing. I life has been lost through sheer recklessness and this I am sorry. However, some of the bus drivers seem like they do not have any respect at all for their lives, let alone another person’s. They use the roads as if they are the only users! I mean what happen to other drivers, pedestrians or even the passengers themselves that should be their concern? I hope this accident sends a strong message to the other bus drivers and other persons who blatantly ignore the speed limits because most of the in a fatal accident, the driver’s life is speared while innocent lives are lost. The accident should also send a message to the Traffic Department. It is time they become more visible, instead of coming just in the outskirts of Basseterre to check for licensing at the beginning of the month. They need to be in remote or secret area throughout the island. While it is impossible for them to catch all offenders, they will surely catch some. On too many occasions, I have been forced off the road for bus drivers who are racing to get back in town at afternoons. Passengers also need to speak up and let their bus drivers know that they (passengers) are expected home. I am sick of lazy Police Officers, I am sick of other drivers who indicate to bus drivers and other when Police Officers are on the road and I am also sick of Passengers who allow bus drivers to drive them recklessly. My thoughts and prayers are with the driver of the school bus and the children who must be terrified by that experience.

Comment: How this man lost his life is really sad n every one is sadden, but i want this be a wake up call for ALL OTHER drivers on the road.God knows how many times at mornings and afternoon I'm going or coming from work and have to pull up my feet thinking this is it for me.The way these bus men (especially) do drive is crazy, and I'm sure his family members use to talk to him.For the other bus driver who was racing with him shame on u!N stop this nonsense! u guys need to take life serious. Most time u all don't take your own life, but that of people just going on their way.
