Comment: When I open my night spot....not a soul under the age of 20 will be allowed in there. Not even to clean up afterwards. To me any age with the word teen in it is too young. While there are late teens (18 and 19) out there that are very responsible and mature for their age, it is not the norm and the fact of the matter is you are still a teenager. Continue to develop your adult skills and responsiblities....just not in my club. So unless you are 20 and above, stay away from my establishment.

Comment: This thing about could work at 16 so should be able to attend adult events is a bunch of BS. If a child leaves school at 16 (drop out) what you trying to say reward them by telling them they could go wherever they want? I am a mother and I have a 17 year old daughter she is soon 18 and she still ain't mature enough to be out there. We does let we children dem grow up to fast. I agree with the others that say 21 years. They need to raise the age of consent too. These teenagers out of hand, we need to start giving them so good licks again, and they get to out a hand carry dem cross the police station for the cat and nine tails, see how fas dey cool out.

Comment: I am still waiting for our Minister of National Security and the PM to come out and LOUDLY denounce the Murders, shootings, robberies, rapes and other crimes.

Comment: They need to make it 21 yrs. If a child decides to drop out of school and work at 16 that doesn’t make them an adult. Someone has to be held responsible. The club owners need to get contracts with persons who they are renting their clubs to. Make the person who they rent it out to liable for paying the fee and court cost if an under age child is allowed to enter. I hope they implement the law for music festival also. I am appalled at the parents who let their young kids go to Music Fest because if anything happens they probably won’t be able to protect their child. Some places on the strip can be family spots so that law doesn’t have to be enforced there. They also need to charge parent who the child resides with if they are found in the club. Children belong at home or at house parties not in the clubs. Since parents refuse to be parents everyone else will have to partake in the raising of their children. The clubs now Face Book next.

Drastic actions demand drastic measures 2 stem de problem. 'Thugs robbed tourists, threatened 2 cripple SKN's economy', 'Thug attacks man wid machette on de main street of commerce in basseterre...in broad day lite' The society needs 2 do sumtin, stop shelterin criminals, speak out against it when its ur frens, family doin bad, stop sayin "i ain in nuttin, so i ain got 2 worry".
