Comment: I strongly disdain the "English garden" plots allocated to our people 90% of whom would have toiled night and day on the sugar plantations. Frankly, it has always been my opinion that to begin with, sugar estate workers should have been allocated at least a half acre of land for residential purposes. These reach-out-and-touch projects have spoiled the landscape of our island and seem like tokenism to our people who toiled so hard.
