Comment: The Heads of Government and people in charge in SKB is getting DUMBER AND DUMBER. It is right to tell the public about the steps that has being taken to combat crime, but it is idiotic to release every detail information, like showing a picture where the camera is. Wake up intelligent people in charge.TOO MUCH INFO IS NOT HELPING CRIME! The Thugs in the Street have more common sense than you guys!

Comment: I strongly agree with you Mr. Washie! I am a 28 year old female who has just migrated and I wish all the young ignorant people will read this article and try gather some sense and move on. Comment: I understand that this media house is aiming to keep the public informed, but why in God’s name a location had to be mentioned...DE GON SHOOT UM DUNG!!!!!!!!In the US they use those same camera's to catch speeders (it takes a pic of their license plate) and the police and newspapers don’t broadcast the locations. Come on sknvibes things like this should be kept more discrete especially if it has not yet been proven to be effective. Good initiative on the police/citizens part though!!!

Comment: To "Smart Chick" and others that share the same view: I understand where your coming from, however, the criminals would know about these cameras even if this article was not written. I live in New Town and have heard about the location of the camera and patrols and so forth. It is there to serve as a deterrrant and not aas a device to catch anyone who does wrong.

Comment: Similar things sometimes happen here in the UK, although it is not as bad as it could potentially be with numerous new designs and commemorative coins issued every year. As coin dealers, we used to make a point, in our younger days, of taking a bagful of new crowns, and trying to spend them, some people loved them, and some would refuse to accept them. Back in 2002, we had some private medallions made, and jokingly offered these in payment. Quite a number of places were happy to accept them as new £5 coins! (We did own up to trying to spoof them).
