Comment: We would have a much better police force if the leadership of the force was chosen based on qualifications, experience and abilities. Instead they are chosen based on their politics and as a results we end up with incompetence.

Comment: When I read the comments from some of my people I am rather dissappointed with the shallow-mindedness and ignorance of our people.Mr.Astaphan is right and he does make valid and valuable points.He left his office but he does have the right to voice his opinions and educate and enlighten us and our servants(GOV'T).Thank u Mr.Astaphan.Continue to lead them, they must listen some day.

Comment: oh please she wasn't sick to burn up she child children are god's precious creation give me a break sick people

Comment: Pregnancy is no reason for serving justice,she did de crime then she should do the crime.I dont see anyting alarming about that.So,that earlier comment is suggesting that it is ok for a pregnant woman to commit any crime? I hope this would be an example for other pregnant women to think before they do the act

Comment: This is a good idea, but it has to be ongoing, one session is not enough to change attitudes and behaviors. And while they are at it.They shold take them on a tour of the jails.This would scare them straight, They would never want to end up in jail.I know the visit would be a deterrent to Badness and other deviant behaviors.Scared Straight is a program that is used in many Urban cities to give Youths a Wakeup call, and stop bad behaviors and Gang activities. It Is very effectve in changing them

Comment: The police force has some very good professional officers but the leadership is very political and appear not to know what they doing.

Comment: We should have never waited until this crime situation got out of control before we got a strategic plan inplace. As the federation grows so will crime and so must our plans to combat these issues. Its absolutely sickening that we wait until things like the rape of a little girl or a 10yr old stabbing another one to death to ramp up our efforts. This is what our politicians should be talking about from there platforms and not abusing each other.

Comment: I strongly agree with Astaphan.experience & seniority is which counts because this is like picking crackheads off the street to run the country whereas these crackhead lack experience etc.Am not sayin his selections are crackhead don't get me wrong but the persons he selected are a waste of tax payers money because he need to select ppl who is next in line when he is absent & Sam would've been the perfect one in truth.Am a strong labour supporter but in life if u see ppl goin wrong let them no
