Comment: Great article. It's time we raise awareness on the many types of child abuse that plagues our country. Most are normally diguised as part of our West Indian Culture, and many parents are not aware of the effects of their actions. We need to continue to educate parents and children in identifying abuse. We need to encourage people to speak up for the sake of our children and we need to speak up for the children whose lips are too swollen to speak for themselves. Continue the great work! |
