Comment: Studies have shown that if a parent commits suicide, the children are more likely to also commit suicide. My heart breaks for the family, but I hope that the community rally around the family, and pay special attention to the children as they are vulnerable. Sometimes patients stop taking their medication as they claim they are feeling better.
