Comment: Very unfortunate what happened to this guy. He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the army unit seem to have gotten a bit carried away and got caught up in the heat of the moment. However, they should have done the RIGHT thing in the final analysis and assisted him in getting an ambulance and immediate medical attention, even if they realized they were wrong...but I guess they weren't thinking either as everything probably ensued very swiftly. I'm of the strong view that police as well as army men are supposed to be rough naturally yes, but STILL conduct themselves within the CONFINES OF THE LAW, for they themselves are not above it BY ANY MEANS.

Comment: Why is the army walking around the bushes anyway i havent heard of any crime up there the crime is in the streets , and besides the army is not suppose to be doing the job of the police the army protects the boarders and the police protects the land it self . Im retired military fought in the Iraq war and it was a desater because once we over trew the government there were nobody there to protect the people so everything went into pandamoneum , then we had to police work and thats the reason for the situation in Iraq now because we where just shooting people and doing all kinds of human right violations , and its not because we didnt know any better its because we where trained to kill and accomplish missions to distroy , not policeing and if you didnt know there two completely diffrent jobs with diffrent objectives . Soldiers are trained not to hessitate police are trained to think twice .

Here is evidence where locals like to attack anyone with a different view then there own. We heard one side of the story so far. and it is a fact locals want the cops and army to kick ass on your crime wave. If you take the case of the counterfeit money you see in a small island everyone knows each other and the majority wanted the criminals to get off with no punishment. How in the world can you make this place better if u don't look at all the facts and set aside personal feelings vs seeking justice. You all know each other and the dim wits who wrote to me on the other blog skipped the section on 3 billion dollar debt and the highest murder rate in the world. duh. man justice is not a fun topic, If the cops hook up their criminal cousin your up in arms. Now u do the same thing. I heard the victim had run ins with the law in his past and you still don't want to hear the second side of the story. This is an example why one day your bankers will shut u down because as a people you dont improve situations. too much corruption and ignorance. Instead of second guessing the army and attacking me take a look at yourself and what u have to show for your life as a nation.

Comment: MY advise to the victim: Make sure your lawyer is present when you make a statment to the police. At this point in time I would not trust them. Also, I would file a criminal law suite against the army and one against the army personnel who was there at the time at the incident. This is abuse of power in its lowest form. Shame...Shame...Shame. Police and Army are not above the law. You all should be leading by example. Is this the type of example you want to give when the crime rate is so high?
