If we have shootings every day and the UN has declared the caribbean the murder captiol of the world then we must turn to those in power to repair our problems and image. The lady who says the problem is the parents is part of the problem. IF St Kitts has the highest murder per capita in the world then the parents did a very poor job and to think the same people can fix the problem is ludicrous. IN St kitts folks follow their political party and don't have a mind of their own. Our crime does relate to future tourism dollars and I agree with his ideas on social, and pollitical,parental, mental health care, play grounds -sports and an iron fist for the gang bangers to begin to seek solution. Hey do as the other lady says and put the power into the same parents who got us into this mess and give me a call when you end up living on a mango diet .

Comment: Why shoot him in his leg? The police should have put a couple in his head. These people need to be removed from society. There is no nice way of putting it. We need to be rid of his kind, and the sooner the better. Law abiding citizens of the federation should not have to be faced with this type of behaviour from persistent and it seems seasoned thieves. This man was hell bent on depriving hard working nationals of their property, and by force if necessary. His knife was not just for show.

Comment: As one of the commentors said the solution starts from home. It starts within. To see and take no action we as parents, neighbors, bystanders, teachers et cetera are just as guilty as the one that pulled the trigger. "It takes a village to raise a child". We as a community of the federation of St. Kitts & Nevis need to begin embracing and looking out for each other because we all suffer as a people, as a nation.

Comment: what are you talking about grant being the leader. You got it wrong brother. grant is the front man for the new leader of Pam Dwyer. You notice grant does not offer solutions but Dwyer is the new spokesman for Pam .' Dwyer can get revenge against Dr. Douglas and build his fame for the next election when he comes out of the closet and runs for PM. My problem is not one of them has told you what they are going to do for you. and that is because it is about them.. You notice with the marriott it was about one man lining his pocket with gold.. You are just sheep meant to follow and buy into this con game. I was in Bermuda last year and I heard a speech made to the bermudians by Dr Douglas aired daily on TV.. Man Im telling you Douglas sounded like JFK !! This was evidence to me your PM is a good man cause he did not speak to the folks of SKN but he spoke from his heart in regard to his dreams and a better life for his Island people. Dr Douglas had nothing to prove or sell to the bermudian citizens. I was there and I witnessed the truth ! The guy really cared .

Comment: I guess you turned on the news today for the first time and you did not see Dwyer is in every head line in the news daily. I never said Dwyer did the shooting, but my point was you have a crisis in St Kitts in daily shootings, and there are two camps in town. You have Dr Douglas and the new leader of Pam Dwyer. This is a fact. My point is the new leader of Pam wants revenge on Labor and his rants are based on his own personal revenge . The evidence is not one suggestion on a solution. I clearly wrote Dwyer is an expert in Security but he has not given one solution on this or any matter. Man the guy is not telling you what he or his party Pam will do for you. I stated the community needs to create recreation and sports for the youth. and a system to pick out the problem children to get them help they need. and of course Stern punishment for men walking around shooting up St Kitts. Your attack on my and focusing on the parents is evidence you don't see the level of your crisis and how to gain solutions when the new political leader is asleep behind the wheel. Dwyer is the one who wants revenge not me. I witness Dwyer with a man who is in prison now being buddy buddy.. This is your new leader. It is the fact the parenting has failed the youth. You need political , parental, social, legal, mental health, recreation guidance to address this issue. Lady no one listens to you or me. Dwyer is calling the shots.
