Comment: De poor can't take no more. Hopefully this increase means that people will have electricity and that theses "new" generators won't keep cutting out so often. So that people's electrical appliances won't break down. But anyway let me get this straight. VAT inception, electricity surcharge increase, social services levy increase, all within a few months of an election where "e a wuk". What happened?

Comment: 'currently under reconstruction'. Is that what it is? Who is the Contractor? How much is the contract? I thought that it was currently under general decay and neglect.

Comment: This is craziness! I am very concerned about the people....we will soon cannot afford to feed ourself because all our income will be paid out in taxes. we are getting squeeze squeeze squeeze....we are not being paid enough to support these taxes. No increase on salary... now vat! now electricity! now social security!

Comment: Hopefully, part of the organisation of this event includes the cleaning up of the area OUTSIDE the Fort Thomas Hotel after the event. When the Music Festival used to be held at the Fort Thomas Hotel the neighbourhood had tons of rubbish in every street, nook & cranny in the area. Please do the right thing and arrange for a clean up immediately after the fete-- ie on Sunday!

Comment: Developments by us will belong to us. It’s time some of our nearsighted politicians realize that when we allow foreign investors to have control in our country we do harm to ourselves and our descendants. Their hotels, condominiums and marinas will be like the sugar plantations our ancestors were chained to for approximately three hundred and fifty years. “Where there is no vision, the people perish”.
